Carl Steigele Drilling, 16 ga SxS (top) with a lower rifle barrel chambered in 8x58, made in Munich, Germany. Both 16 ga barrel stamped "Nitro", with manufacture's name on the right barrel and city on the left barrel. Scope was made by Dr. Walter Gerard, a famous WWI German scope maker. This firearm is in great condition for it's age and very hard to come by.
"Carl Stiegele was a prominent arms maker from the late 1800s, notable for his manufacture of combination rifles and shotguns for royalty around the world. Examples were found for Bavarian royalty, as well as the Meiji Emperor."
