Winchester 1892 Short Rifle chambered in 44 WCF and manufactured in 1910. Determination of a “Short Rifle” is based upon measurements taken of the barrel, forearm, and distance of front sight to muzzle.
Cody Museum was contacted for information from Winchester factory, only information provided was date of serial number. A letter from our shop will be provided with the firearm disclosing all information/specs gained from a detailed inspection (see last picture).
